Lost or Stray Animals
Southern Midlands Animal Management Officers collect many stray animals, predominantly stray or lost dogs. Our aim is to get your dogs back to you, as quickly as possible. Our officers have access to a database of all currently registered dogs as well as access to a microchip scanner.
If your dog escapes and it has its tag on, our officers can locate the owner and return the dog to them. Registration tags are the fastest link for being able to reunite a stray dog, with it with its owner.
